These two Southeast Asian cities are a study in contrast. Bangkok is largely modern, complete with skyscrapers and traffic jams, while ancient and gray Angkor Wat is surrounded by jungle and inspires spiritual awe. Yet both share Hindu and Buddhist influence on numerous temples and art.
